ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
All members are invited to attend this year’s AGM, to be held at the Orpen Hall,
Lexden Road, West Bergholt, CO6 3BW on Thursday 12th November at 7.30pm.
Light refreshments will be provided. Our annual trophy presentations will be made on this evening, along with a review of the club's year & a look forward to the coming year. The AGM is a great opportunity to bring forward your ideas for club activities & to be able to discuss them with other club members present & the committee. It is also the time of year when committee members are elected/re-elected - please return nomination forms (sent with last newsletter) to Secretary Marian French by 6th November.
CHRISTMAS MEAL
Please contact Carol Bolton as soon as possible if you would like to join the Club for our Christmas Meal at the Thatchers Arms, Mount Bures on Friday 11th December. We have arranged to sit down at 8.00pm & everyone is invited to arrive from 7.00pm for pre-dinner drinks & chat. Tickets are available from Carol B at £25 each to include dinner, but not drinks. BRC WINTER DRESSAGE / CVRC TEAM DRESSAGE
Davinia is keen to get a couple of teams together for this year’s Area 14 Winter Dressage competition on 13th December at Overa Farm Stud, Larling, Norfolk. Please contact Davinia if you are interested on 07590 458741.
It’s also time to get your entries in to Davinia for our teams competiton at Topthorn on November 7th. We hope to be able split the competition into separate morning & afternoon sessions, to reduce waiting time for team members. NICK MOON CLINIC
We are still trying to arrange a clinic with Nick Moon for (hopefully!) the last weekend in November. All members are welcome, & this could be a good opportunity for anyone joining the Winter Dressage teams to get in some last-minute training & to visit a new venue. Nick has an Olympic size manège & plenty of parking. He is happy to take flatwork or jumping sessions & he particularly excels in helping “difficult” or young horses to fulfill their potential. MARIA YANACOPOULOS DRESSAGE CLINIC
Our friend Peggy Kendrew has recommended to us a trainer new to the area, Maria Yanacopoulos, & has very kindly arranged a clinic/demo for members to attend at Wix on Dec 12th. Please see separate details for this event.

We are holding the previous 2 years’ rate of £20 (£12 non-riding) for the 2009-10 club year.
