Area HUNTER TRIALS 2007

This year’s Area Hunter Trial takes place on 7th October 2007 at Geldeston Hall near Beccles, Norfolk. Would you like to take part either as part of the novice team or as an individual in the novice or open classes?

The novice hunter trial is a course of cross-country jumps set at a height of between 2f6-2f9.

Clear Round X-Country Day

In conjunction with Colne Valley RC

Stratford Hills Centre will

be holding a clear round day on

23rd September 2007

Come and jump a course of 16 or more jumps 2’, 2’6”or 3’.

Here at Colne Valley we decided to try something different this summer, in response to suggestions made at last year's AGM, and so we hosted our first ever Summer Camp at Poplar Park between the 6th and 8th of July.  We've had some great feedback; it seems everyone had a fantastic time.

Sunday the 1st of July dawned bright and breezy as the Colne Valley contingent made their way up to Poplar Park for the annual Area 14 One Day Event, hosted by Finn Valley Riding Club. This year we were well represented by a novice team of 4 riders (Kelly Cole, Alexis Landing, Michelle Oliver and Louise Allen), an individual novice rider Claire Akers, and two individual intermediate entrants Addie Akers and Lucy Browning-Smith.

Wednesday 6^th June, 11^th & 25^th July 2007

6pm & 7pm

This is a 1 hour session for 2 people. Rosemary is happy to work with you to improve your flatwork, help you with your dressage. Individual 30 minute sessions can be arranged for dressage test practice.

Cost £17.00 per horse (Non members welcome, if spaces)

We've introduced a Spring Show into our diary for this year, to be held indoors at Wix on Sunday 22nd April.
Classes to include lead rein, novice showing, Mountain & Moorland, veterans and a range of Working Hunter classes, plus others.
